Privacy Policy — Grila: TV Station Tycoon
Last updated: 13 October 2026
Grila is made by CardzyGames. This policy says what data the app uses, why, and how you control it.
Your game
There is no account and no login. Your progress (your station, schedule, contracts, shows and money) is saved on your own phone and is never sent to us. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
We do not collect your name, e-mail address, contacts, photos, files or precise location. The only thing you type that leaves your phone is a message you choose to send us (see “Suggestions & problems” below).
Suggestions & problems (messages to us)
The game has a Suggestions & problems panel (the chat bubble at the top of the screen). If you write to us there, we receive:
- the text you send, and the kind you picked (problem, idea, other)
- a short line about your game, so we can find a problem: the day, the screen, your money, this week’s audience against Channel 9, the weeks won and lost, and how many shows and ad deals you have
- the app version and your phone’s operating system version
- a random ID made by the game on your phone, so that our reply reaches you; we store only a scrambled (hashed) form of it. It is not your advertising ID and is not linked to any account.
We use this only to read your message, answer it in the same panel, and fix or improve the game. It is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with anyone. The messages are stored by Cloudflare, which runs our server for us, and travel encrypted (HTTPS).
Please do not put passwords, payment details or personal information in a message. You can delete your messages at any time with Delete my messages in the same panel; that removes them from our server at once. Messages are also deleted automatically 180 days after the last one in a conversation. If you uninstall the game, the panel loses its link to your old messages, and those are deleted after 180 days.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and shows adverts through Google AdMob:
- Ads you choose to watch, for an in-game bonus (an extra break, an emergency sponsor, or finishing a show early). Nothing happens unless you tap.
- Occasional ads between game days. These can be turned off with the "No interruptions" purchase.
To show and measure ads, AdMob collects from your device: the advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with the ads. Google uses this to serve ads, cap how often you see the same one, prevent fraud, and, only where allowed, to personalise ads.
Consent. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app shows Google's consent form before any ad is requested. If you decline personalised ads, you still get ads, but they are not based on your profile. You can change your choice at any time in the game: ⚙ → Privacy choices.
Everywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
Ads are limited to content rated for teens and older.
How Google uses this data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites — Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Game statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
To learn where players get stuck and which parts of the game work, the app sends anonymous gameplay events to Google Analytics for Firebase, for example: a tutorial step finished, a game day ended, a room opened, an ad offered or watched, the result of a purchase.
- Collected: a random app-instance ID (not your advertising ID), the events above, device model, operating system, app version, and approximate country or region.
- Not collected: the advertising ID, your name, contacts, or precise location.
- Where consent is required (EEA, UK, Switzerland), statistics are sent only if you allowed storage and measurement in the consent form. Otherwise nothing is sent.
- Statistics are never used for advertising.
- They are kept for 2 months and then deleted by Google.
Purchases
The one purchase, "No interruptions", is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details; the app receives only a confirmation that the purchase was made, so it can be restored on a new phone.
Sharing
The "Share my season" button opens your phone's own share menu with a short text about your season. Nothing is sent unless you choose an app to send it with, and then that app's own policy applies.
Permissions
The game plays offline. It uses the internet only for ads, statistics, purchases and the messages you send us. It requests no camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage or phone permissions.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Your choices and rights
- Change ad and statistics consent: ⚙ → Privacy choices in the game (shown where the consent form applies).
- Delete the statistics linked to your app instance, or ask any question: write to us at the address below.
- Remove everything stored on your phone: uninstall the app.
Delete your GRILA data
GRILA, by CardzyGames, keeps very little about you. To delete it:
- Messages to us: tap the chat bubble at the top of the game, then Delete my messages. Your thread is removed from our server at once. Or e-mail [email protected] with the subject “Delete my GRILA data” and we delete it within 30 days.
- Your game save: it is stored only on your phone. Uninstall the app to delete it.
- Game statistics: write to the same address and we delete the statistics linked to your app instance.
- Advertising ID: reset or delete it in your phone’s settings (Google → Ads).
What is kept: message threads nobody writes in for 180 days are deleted automatically. Purchase records are kept by Google Play under Google’s own terms, so one-time purchases can be restored. Ad data is held by Google and managed at myadcenter.google.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes, and the new version is published at the same address before the change reaches the app.
